Matson Homes is a custom home building company in the Athens/Limestone County area. My name is Micah Matson and I have been in construction for over 10 years. I worked for 2 1/2 years as a supervisor under my father in Florida. Then I moved to NH and began flipping houses. I also received my real estate license. I did this for around 2 years in NH and then moved to Alabama. I received my home builder license and continued flipping houses and occasionally building spec homes. Then I received my Real estate broker license and opened Matson Realtors. I have been building houses in this location ever since. Being a broker as well as a builder allows me to more seamlessly help clients sell their home along with building their new home.

The first step in building your home is getting pre approved for a home loan. I can recommend mortgage brokers or you can go to your bank. Then you can determine what you want your budget to be.

If you would like to learn more about the cost of building your new home on your land, send a copy of your building plan to Micahmatson1@gmail.com, along with the address of your land that you would like to build on. Then I will create an estimated cost sheet for your new home using finishes that I use in my spec homes. If you would like to continue I will give you a spreadsheet with suppliers and selection lists so that you can make all selections for your home. Then I will give you my turn key price for your completed home.
